From the Foreword by D. Travers Scott:
"We're more than fortunate to have a revised version published of Thomas Woolley's Toilet. Amped up with two new stories, Toilet is far from some nostalgic I [heart] the Queer '90s. The narrator in 'Fuckoff.com' writes that, 'I look at shock as armor in a life that is essentially one brutal offensive strike.' Originally published in 1998, those words ring even truer in today's era of Bush II, Iraq II, and 9/11. Woolley's stories break through that state of shock. They are revitalizing rather than numbing. Toilet is an electro-paddle jolt to jump-start our current times. It's a punch to the gut, an insistent kiss, a shot in the arm to wake up, breathe deeply, and be inspired. Inspired to fight for the world you want."

Thomas Woolley currently works in Manhattan at a national magazine in the marketing department where he is afforded the opportunity to create a lot of material dotted with excessive exclamation points. He lives in the much-maligned state of New Jersey with his lover and a cat so ferocious it had to be declawed.

"Both cheery and cantankerous, the stories and rantings of Toilet are linked by a battery-acid tone and a smart, atomic energy. Thomas Woolley is a wholly engaging original, and injects his humor with equal parts horror and sad, eerie nostalgia."
